Mind boggling

It was depressing to see the news today. I watched a broadcast that was telling more about the tsunami and showing more amateur video. The show I watched said the death toll was up to over 80,000 and would probably double that with the ensuing disease from poor sanitation problems. I can't wrap my mind around that.

Seeing all the news about how the earthquake affected the earth was also hard to imagine. The earth's axis changed? Islands and continents moved several meters? The days are seconds shorter? The ocean floorbed was revealed during the tsunami?

I also saw where Clinton spoke about the disaster and then was slammed for doing it before Bush??? Then Bush finally gives a speech after outcries of him not doing it sooner. One viewer to a news show sent in an email that said if Bush really wanted to do something to help, he should send over the $40 million plus it will cost for his innaugeration. Hmm, somehow I don't see that happening.

This message popped up while I was looking around on the internet today and I accidentally hit yes, what do you think it means???

I never even considered that, Jeff...Bush could save tens of millions of dollars by just getting sworn in down in whatever underground chamber Cheney (his boss) is hiding out in. It would free up homeland security forces too. But that would never do. Sean Hannity's legion of red state zombies want to see Dubya wear the crown and sash. Pity. It's a sad time for all intelligent people. Russ
